On Friday 30 June, the European Commission adopted indicators for monitoring the EU’s digital transformation. These indicators should provide guidance to Member States on how they should structure their national roadmaps to achieve the targets of Digital Decade 2030 (see EUROPE 13122/37). BeWell consortium met in Oslo, Norway, for the project’s summer General Assembly meeting, on 19-20 June 2023. BeWell partners had the opportunity to review the progress made so far and plan the project’s next steps. The BeWell project will help transform the healthcare sector in the European Union and improve its sustainability by boosting digital and green skills of the health workforce. The BeWell project launched the European health multi-stakeholder partnership on skills gaps and emerging occupations, on Tuesday 13 December, through an online event.
