Over the next four years (2022-2026) we will develop a green and digital skills strategy for the health ecosystem that can be implemented at a local, regional, national, and ultimately at the European level through the Pact for Skills.

BeWell Skills Strategy aims to be a coordinated approach to modernize healthcare, a multi-stakeholder strategy.

A multi-stakeholder strategy

A strained system

European health systems are under pressure, lagging behind when it comes to integrating digital technologies and creating opportunities for the upskilling of health workers.

A complex ecosystem

To address the skill needs and gaps in the health sector, all services must be considered, taking into account the existing disparities within and across European countries.

A unified solution

At BeWell we will co-create training programmes on green and digital skills, respecting and uniting the diversity of Europe’s health ecosystem

Strategy validation

The strategy will be validated using a four-step approach:

Engagement of diverse stakeholders for the development of the strategy’s first version
Validation consultations by consortium partners after the development of the strategy’s first version
Online public consultation including patients and the health workforce, professions, and decision makers. The public consultation will run in years 2 and 3 in 8 EU languages.
Consultations among consortium partners and their networks, after the development of the strategy’s second version.
