Digital health tools have established themselves as one of the new technologies that can advance the digital transformation of healthcare. The goal is to train professionals who have a critical understanding, knowledge, and skills (in terms of design, implementation, evaluation, experimentation, prototyping, and valorization) of computer science methodologies and technologies for studying and solving complex and interdisciplinary problems that arise in the field of health, pharma, nutraceuticals, wellness, and sports, with the aim of improving the quality of offerings and services (also in the context of a smart hospital), the efficiency and effectiveness of the results achieved, focusing on the personalization of care, assistance, monitoring, evaluation, and valorization of the patient, or more generally, of the user of all ages. The increasing introduction of computing technologies into biomedical environments requires that well-trained individuals be available not only to teach students, but also to design, develop, select and manage tomorrow's biomedical computing systems. There is a wide range of context-dependent computing problems that people can appreciate only by working on problems defined by the healthcare environment and its constraints. The aim of the course is to provide a broad view of digital health issues and accidental evolutions, while ensuring a concrete approach by sharing experiences and results of digital applications in the real clinical care context, to transfer knowledge, awareness and leadership of digital transformation in the health field to the participants. To address challenges in healthcare, the Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare program aims to share knowledge and tools related to the regulation, organization, implementation and evaluation of technologies in healthcare. With the support of SDA Bocconi faculty and thanks to the testimony of experts in the field, the program will explore important questions, such as the meaning of digital health and artificial intelligence in healthcare, the main implementation challenges, the risks, the limitations and the legal and regulatory aspects to be taken into account, including when evaluating a digital innovation in healthcare.       Visit provider's page [...]
