Established in 1971, the EFN represents over 36 National Nurses Associations and its work has an effect on the daily work of 3 million nurses throughout the European Union and 6 million in Europe. EFN mission is to strengthen the status and practice of the profession of nursing for the benefit of the health of the citizens and the interests of nurses in the EU and Europe.
As partner in the BEWELL project, the EFN will be involved in all the Work Packages, from 1 to 9. With a special focus on WP3 and the development of the skill strategy based on WP2 mapping of existing upskilling and reskilling initiatives and upscaling analysis/findings. Having a huge network at EU level, the EFN will also contribute to WP9 with communication and dissemination activities.
